Tonight I'm in Amsterdam to do portfolio reviews during 'beyond the black hole' an evening on establishing a career in the illustration business after graduating.

As an illustrator, you learn to depict ideas at the academy with your work, to tell stories or to initiate a social movement. But where do you start your career, freshly graduated from art school or floating in the black hole for some time? What can you do to get grants, illustration prices and more work? What is the art of the correct profiling for clients? And how do you develop business feelers in addition to your artistic qualities? An evening for image makers about contemporary visual culture, entrepreneurship and inspiration. Event and portfolio reviews are fully booked but the talks will be live streamed at the page of the venue
