(xmas) Trees
Merry xmas & a fabulous 2020! As you might or might not know I traditionally I send my season greetings digitally instead of printed and I plant trees instead of chopping one. You might even had one or more planted in your name. The trees provide jobs, restore the ecosystem and cool the earth.
The trees are planted in India by WeForest. WeForest, backed by a scientific network, is growing a movement of small and large responsible companies committed to having a positive impact for people and for our planet. WeForest works with communities, local organizations and NGOs to develop scalable reforestation projects, demonstrating how it is possible to mobilize communities and restore our degraded soils.

This forest is in Sacred Grove, Hima Mawphlang. Sacred groves are protected areas, with significant cultural value. WeForest has two degraded areas under restoration, which the communities want to restore to sacred groves such as this one
